Gazpromneft

Retail branding | Logo design and development of corporate ID
I joined the branding agency Mildberry in 2008 and immediately became involved in one of their largest projects - the creation of a national gas station brand for Gazprom Neft. As a designer, my primary responsibility was to create a new logo for the brand. The challenge was to ensure visual continuity with Gazprom's corporate identity while also creating a retail brand that would be appealing to consumers. The brand needed to communicate a sense of professionalism and seriousness, while still feeling modern and approachable. This required careful consideration of various design elements, such as colors, typography, and imagery, to create a balanced and effective visual identity for the new brand.
The trademark element of our brand has become a striking supergraphy, styled as flames. This key visual element has been carefully integrated into a wide range of our brand identity materials, creating a cohesive image. Thanks to our collaboration with a talented team of designers and art directors, we have gained valuable experience in creating a complete and unified corporate identity.
The development of the brand book took over a year, making it one of the most comprehensive and detailed brand guidelines I've ever worked with. Spanning nine separate manuals and 200 pages, the brand book provided exhaustive answers to almost any question and meticulously outlined the creation of a vast range of branded assets. My focus was on designing branded merchandise, vehicle branding, and uniforms for gas station personnel.
